"BIG" News!

Say hello to our "new addition".  My husband, Jake, has been truck hunting ever since I sold his last truck on craigslist, and we finally made a purchase!  What a great idea, huh, buying a truck of all things, with a 9" lift, with the awesome gas prices right now?  Oh, and did I mention his 45 minute commute to work each way?  Yeah.. bright idea. I kid, I kid - In all seriousness, his cute little face just LIT UP when he test drove this truck, and I knew it was the ONE.  Ahhh, men.  My only worry with buying a used high mileage vehicle is that we'll end up stuck with a money pit and neverending repairs.  Well, the fun began when we bought the truck on March 17th; It still has yet to see our driveway.  It's been sitting at a mechanic shop ever since - and Lord only knows how much all the repairs will cost!  Boo.  I'm not too bothered though; Smart wives recognize a good opportunity when they see one - This means it's only fair for me to get something equally expensive in the near future.  Is that terrible??

Soooo recently while my husband and I were getting pedi's----WAIT, I take that back.. *I* was just getting a polish change, and my hubby was getting the pedicure, and they talked him into buying one of those nail salon grade pumice stones.  It's verrrrrry coarse, like where I think it could quite possibly draw blood. (Ouch!)  Anyway, I have no idea if Jake plans on using this thing, but I have been GOING TO TOWN!  I kinda thought hmm.. I wonder if using this on my face is like getting a microdermabrasion.. MAYBE?!  So I did it.  Lightly.  And I was pretty sure my face was very nicely exfoliated and I'd have a beautiful glow. Score!  Then I figured I would use it on my legs.  I have not shaved my legs in two years!  ... Let me quickly point out that I HAVE been waxing them, don't you even dare think for a hot second that I'd be gross enough to have long manly leg hair, ewww.  Anyway, used it on my legs and then shaved 'em and they felt suuuuuuuuuuuuper smooth and soft in the shower! Yeah, score again! . . . So I thought.  Well, I get out of the shower and now my skin itches and burns horribly.  I may have over exfoliated just a tad. 

So the moral of the story is that a pumice stone is for FEET only! 

And probably only man feet!

Sweet Starbucks LOVE

Okay, so like, EVERYYYYONNEEE loves Starbucks and after years and years of NOT liking it...at all... I have FINALLY found a drink on the menu that I am in dear sweet love with!  Hooray!!  Before the big reveal let me point out that I DON'T like coffee. Vom.  The smell is nice, but the taste?  Not so much.  I have periodically tried things here and there and have yet to be impressed.  But about two weeks ago the hubs and I had a meeting at Starbucks so I figured I'd better order something so it at least SEEMS that I speak the barista language - so here's what I ordered:

Tall Double Chocolately Chip Frap, Nonfat, No Whip

MmMMMmmMmmm  HEAVEN in a cup, LET ME TELL YOU!  And don't let the nonfat/no whip thing misguide you; it is still mega sweet and ultra delicious!  Like a yummy  chocolate shake!  Annnnd, if you order it just like that ^^ it's only 190 calories!  Which means I don't feel so bad about having one justttt about every day SINCE 2 weeks ago. 

NOW I understand being a starbucksaholic.  UM, YES PLEASE!!!

When I'm Done...I'm DONE.

I sometimes believe in second chances but it really depends on to what degree you have pissed me off.  If you just, say, talked bad about me - I could get over that.  That's forgivable because I'd probably talk about me too.  And seriously, doesn't everyone talk about everyone else at SOME point in time?  Oh . . no?  Uhmm yeah, . . . me neither. 

But anyway if you have P'd me off to some massive extent I probably won't give you another chance.  I may FORGIVE you, but only for the sake of me not having to carry around the negative karma; but I will never forget, ohhh no.  I have the luxury of being able to quit someone cold turkey and not look back.  I don't hang onto things - I let them go, along with the person.  I don't even know how I do it, but when it's done, it's done.  When I'm done.... I'm finished.   Sounds kind of cold, but it's true.  There is NO WAY I have room in my life for peeps who aren't legit.

Shower #2 In the Works!

My bff Jill and I are throwing a Carnival/Circus themed baby shower!  (Yeah, Shower #2 this year already, and I still have a million more friends that are preggo..its gonna be a busy year).  We found some realllllllllllllly cute ideas online, and we think it will come together super cute!  It's not until April, but we're starting early!  Jill is doing pretty much all the cooking/baking--with good reason, she is a MUCH better cook then me.  I specialize in one thing and ONE thing only...penis cookies.  but thats another story for another day.

Anyway, I just started working on the diaper cake and diaper cupcakes today.  I'm not finished with the cake, but luckily I have a month to get it together. I'll post more pics when I'm finished!

MORE PICS!  Okay - I have narrowed in down to just a few of my faves.  I have to admit - there is one thing I absolutely love about all of these pics.... my HAIR!  Seriously, it looks downright AWESOME...and LONG, you will have to (HAVE TO) agree.  I'm pretty sure it doesn't look this good in person, but what matters is that it photographs well - you know, because I spend so much time in front of a camera..uh...yeah.
