Lisa Lately

^^ Get it?  Its like Chelsea Lately, but its my name.  Clever huh?  Yeah.. not really, I'm watching E! as we speak. [so. lame.]

OH MY LORD I have been off the map lately!  I've had the last 11 DAYS off w/ Jake and it has been so great!  I feel like we got in a bunch of quality time, which I always love and appreciate!  Jake is in the best mood when he's had lots of sleep and he's not stressed...so needless to say he was his BEST self for the last 11 days.  Gahhh.. I sure love that man!  I know I've said it a million times before on here ... but its TRUE!  It was definitely great having all that time to reconnect. ;) ;) ( hahahah! )

Okee-dokes, what else?  Work has been great!  I had a RECORD day today which was awesome!  I have a few slow days each week, and I'm definitely finding that supplies + rent + EVERYTHING is much more expensive then I originally anticipated, but hey, that's all part of it.  I'm learning (a lot) as I go! {fake it till you make it?}  Soon enough I think(I hope) my clientele will be built up enough to sustain all associated costs and have some profit!  Let me point out that I cannot WAIT to be able to afford a laundry service.  I detest laundry. and folding sheets. :P  So in the next 30 to 90 days (hello huge window) I will be running a daily deal type promotion.  I'm REALLY hoping that will drive in some new solid business.  We shall see!  I feel really positive about everything and am having a blast watching business grow and learning all sides of it! 

I feel like I have been very consumed with everything lately.  Not in a bad way, or in an overwhelming way. Just in a BUSY way.  Does that make ANY sense??? 

Life. It's so crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way!  If there is one thing I can say it is that we have been B L E S S E D !!  I'm in total disbelief that Jake and I are actually realizing our dreams.  Things are happening fast, and falling into place just the way we hoped they would.  All I know is, I can't wait to see what else the future has in store!

I miss my friends.

SOMETIMES.. okay all the time.. I miss my far-away friends!  That's the worst part to me, about growing up and moving away from your hometown.  You leave behind your back-home friends and then you miss out on sharing everything going on in THEIR lives.  Or really, just plain hanging out with them whenever the mood strikes.  Boo. :(  It's no secret that I am happy as a clam about getting out of my small drama-filled town, but I hope I can make a trip to visit sometime soon!
