Jake is 29!

Well, we're entering Jake's last year of being "under 30".  {He's in denial.}  We had a little birthday party for him at the house, wanted to share a few pics of all the fun!  (Pics courtesy of my friend Brooke!)  And yes.. we're partying in the garage/on the driveway...hey, this is where jake always wants everyone to hang out.  If it were up to me we would be in the house, in the cold AC... We live in Texas its hottttt outside!!!!!!

Our Business

Well, my official start date with my new business is this NEXT MONDAY!  I am so thilled and ready for this change!  Prior to my start date I made sure to give myself a few days OFF so I could enjoy some quality time with my hubby and our doggies.  (Lord only knows when I'll get some time off again!)

I can't believe that we're doing this -- that I have QUIT my job and we're just going for it!  What a leap of faith!!!  Once everything is all set up, I'll be sure to post pictures.  I hope we're ready for this ride we have in store.   WeeEEEeeeeeEEEeeEEEE, here we go!

My Happy Little Family

I love them more than words!!!
{Even if my hubby insists its appropriate to cut the
sleeves off of his t-shirts and wear them in public.}

Jazzin' Up Yo Junk

Vajazzling.  We've all heard of it right??  Okay....maybe just me because I kiiiind of sorrrrt of work in the cha-cha business.  (read my older blogs.. it will all make sense, or maybe not.)  So "Vajazzling" is something that Jennifer Love Hewitt apparently made really popular a while (WHILE) back.  Its essentially gluing swarovski crystals to you vag after a wax. (or shave, I guess, if your old school like that.)  I mean, who DOESN'T want their crotch to be all disco ball-esque??  I, for one, LOVE all things sparkley, but I don't know if I'm exactly cool enough to pull off a jazzed up hoo-ha.  I'm afraid I would then want to show it off, which could be either be offensive or inappropriate.  I don't even know what kind of design I would get either.  Hmm.. a butterfly would be too cutesy, an arrow pointing down would be too obvious. I would need the bling to convey the right message, you know??

So now the new latest and greatest trend for men is "Pejazzling."  Which is essentially gluing little crystals to men's ..uh.. areas.  According to British reality television star Mark Wright who is attempting to make this trend catch on, he says “Men wear diamond watches and bling earrings—this is no different.”  He also shares that the red lips and iron cross designs are the most popular with men. “Women don’t necessarily want a rough and ready man. Some prefer a man who’s groomed and takes care of himself. It’s each to their own,” he says.  Um, GROSS, I say.  Can someone please tell me how red sparkley lips downtown convey the message of a man who "takes care of himself"?  Icky.  Yes... I think I'll stick with the "rough and ready man".

The WHOLE part of this trend that really annoys me more then anything is that its not called vadazzle/pedazzle.  I think that sounds WAY better.  Plus, it takes me back to the days when I had a bedazzler and could add little jewels to things not attached to my body.
